Research Institute: Microsoft will purchase more Nvidia AI chips than its competitors in 2024

According to a recent estimate by global market research firm Omdia, Microsoft will purchase far more Nvidia Hopper-based chips for artificial intelligence (AI) in 2024 than Nvidia's second-largest U.S. customer, Meta, and its cloud computing rivals Amazon and Google, in an effort to gain an advantage in the competition to build the next generation of artificial intelligence systems.
