Chinese artificial intelligence startup APLUX released a humanoid robot prototype called Ultra Magnus at CES 2025 on Monday, teaming up with Qualcomm to lay out embodied intelligence.

This humanoid robot solution is equipped with Qualcomm's QCS8550 processor, which realizes the robot's motion control, perception, decision planning and voice interaction through the fusion architecture operating system and edge AI technology, and combines Ti5 robot's joint modules and motion control algorithms to realize the robot's motion control.

Founded in December 2020, APLUX is an artificial intelligence company focusing on the AIoT (artificial intelligence of things) field.

At the end of December 2022, the company announced a 50 million yuan Pre-A round of financing, led by Qualcomm Ventures.
