He added that WeChat have taken five years or more to build an e-commerce ecological connector, give full play to the power of social networking, pay attention to slow work and meticulous work, and make it a high-quality product.
WeChat officially kicked off the gray-scale testing of the feature last month, allowing WeChat users to not only buy things, but also give them to their WeChat friends in a form similar to "red packets".
A usage note shows that, except for jewelry, education and training categories, and products with an original price higher than 10,000 yuan, the "gift-giving" feature will be supported by default.
