On May 12, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States disclosed that Polestar Automotive is recalling some Polestar 3 vehicles, totaling 3,664 vehicles. The reason for the recall is that the rear-view camera image may not be displayed when the vehicle is in reverse gear. When the rear-view camera image cannot be displayed, the driver's observation of the rear view of the vehicle will be reduced, increasing the risk of collision; the software will be updated free of charge through dealers or OTA software updates.
