Panasonic Home Appliances (China) Co., Ltd. and Alibaba Cloud announced on the 30th that they have officially reached an AI cooperation agreement. The two parties will focus on the field of smart home appliances, combining Panasonic's expertise in the field of home appliances and Alibaba Cloud's global "cloud + AI" technical capabilities to jointly explore the creation of AI intelligent entities for the vertical field of home appliances, cultivate AI application technology talents, and promote the globalization of the home appliance industry. Panasonic Home Appliances China will develop an AI platform based on the Ali Tongyi Qianwen series of large models to comprehensively upgrade the intelligent functions of washing machines, refrigerators and other home appliances in the living space. For example, through the AI intelligent entity driven by the large model, home appliances will have functions such as smart laundry, smart cooking, and smart food management, while upgrading the environmental perception capabilities of the home appliance end side to achieve "active service". In this process, Alibaba Cloud will provide cloud computing infrastructure, large model products and professional technical team support. In addition, based on Panasonic's "China for Global" strategy in China, Panasonic also plans to discuss with Alibaba Cloud the cooperation of smart home appliance IoT services in overseas markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
