OpenAI plans to open an office in New Delhi, India, in the coming months, formally entering this key growth market. OpenAI said in a statement on Friday that it has begun hiring to expand its local team. OpenAI currently has only one employee in India: Pragya Misra, who joined the company last year to lead public policy and partnerships in India.
