Nvidia is working with telecom companies to develop AI-native 6G wireless networks
On March 18, NVIDIA said it is working with T-Mobile, MITRE, Cisco, ODC, and Booz Allen Hamilton to develop hardware, software, and architecture for AI-native 6G wireless networks. Telecommunications companies will work together to build an AI-native network stack for 6G on the NVIDIA AI Aerial platform. T-Mobile and NVIDIA will expand their collaboration at the AI-RAN Innovation Center. MITRE will research, prototype, and contribute open source AI-driven services and applications. Cisco will provide mobile core and network technology. Booz Allen will develop AI RAN algorithms and ensure the security of AI-native 6G wireless platforms.
