According to The Paper, Nanjing announced at the 2025 Intelligent Robot Development Conference that it plans to increase the scale of the core industry of embodied intelligent robots to 10 billion yuan by 2027, and cultivate at least five complete machine mass production companies, striving to become the country's leading "Robot City". Embodied robots are regarded as "AI with bodies" that can perceive the environment and make autonomous decisions. Nanjing will introduce an action plan to promote software and hardware product innovation, build an industrial innovation system, and strengthen scenario demonstration applications to accelerate the high-quality development of the robotics industry.
