Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted on X platform that if Tesla's stock price continues to rise to a certain level, all short sellers in the world will be eliminated, even Bill Gates, the former world's richest man. Gates once admitted to Musk that he shorted Tesla's stock. According to Forbes, Gates' current net worth is $108 billion (about 783.649 billion yuan). Tesla's recent stock price surge has made short sellers miserable. Since a month ago, Tesla's stock price has continued to rise and broke through the $400 mark. Tesla's market value has re-crossed the trillion-dollar mark, becoming the world's eighth most valuable company, only $300 million lower than Meta Platforms (META.O), which ranks seventh.
