More than 300 released South Korean workers leave the US and return to South Korea on a chartered flight

The over 300 released South Korean citizens departed for South Korea on a chartered flight from Atlanta International Airport. Earlier on the 4th, multiple US government agencies launched a joint law enforcement operation at a battery factory in Georgia owned by Hyundai Motor and LG Energy Solution, detaining 475 people, including over 300 South Korean citizens. Most of these detainees had entered the US on short-term business visas or visa-free entry and were working at the factory without work permits.
