The expansion will serve existing and new customers and ensure that data is stored in Switzerland, which is an important requirement for industries such as healthcare, finance and government. Microsoft will also expand its cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises and increase training to help people use artificial intelligence and digital tools. Microsoft currently has 1,000 employees in Switzerland, but did not elaborate on how many jobs this investment will create in the future.
