Kirin chips make a comeback at Huawei's press conference after four years

On September 4th, the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master and all-scenario new product launch event was held in Shenzhen. At the event, Richard Yu, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of the Device BG, officially unveiled the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master, Huawei's new tri-foldable phone. Yu Chengdong explained that the phone is equipped with the Kirin 9020 chip and HarmonyOS, achieving a 36% performance boost through the synergy of hardware, software, and cloud. Reporters at the event witnessed the return of the Kirin chip to a Huawei press conference after a four-year hiatus, drawing cheers from the audience.
