At the closing ceremony, Alibaba Group Chairman Joseph Tsai said that Asia has benefited greatly from global free trade, especially manufacturing-oriented economies such as China and Vietnam. Until recently, individual governments have tried to dismantle our bridges between Asia and the rest of the world. Joseph Tsai said that the scale of trade between China and other Southeast Asian countries is already comparable to that between China and the United States. He believes that a lot of business activities can be carried out within Asia. In addition, Europe remains a huge opportunity for Asian companies. "Europeans have a completely different cultural mindset when dealing with Asian companies. Americans tend to think more in black and white, while Europeans are better able to understand nuances. European culture is older and there are some similarities between it and Asian culture. I think this is another area that Asian companies can explore," Joseph Tsai said.
