Japan's Panasonic Holdings Group announced on the 9th that it plans to lay off 5,000 employees in Japan and overseas starting from fiscal 2025. At the same time, Panasonic Group will terminate loss-making businesses whose expected profits are difficult to improve, and integrate and merge some branches.
