Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a symposium on private enterprises in Beijing on Monday morning and delivered an important speech, according to Xinhua.
A number of Chinese business leaders attended the meeting, including tech moguls such as Jack Ma and Pony Ma.
Reuters was the first to report on this possible meeting on Friday.
According to incomplete statistics, at least 12 entrepreneurs were represented at the meeting, as listed below:
Xiangdong Qi: chairman of Qi An Xin Technology Group;
Jun Lei: founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Xiaomi;
Renrong Yu: chairman of Will Semiconductor;
Chuanfu Wang: chairman of BYD;
Zhengfei Ren: principal founder of Huawei;
Liu Yonghao: Chairman, New Hope Group;
Xingxing Wang: founder and CEO of Unitree; and
Cunhui Nan: Chairman of Chint Group;
Youbin leng: Chairman of China Feihe;
Jack Ma: Principal Founder of Alibaba Group;
Robin Zeng: Chairman of CATL;
Xing Wang: founder, chairman and CEO of Meituan Dianping;
In addition to the above people, another person speculated that DeepSeek founder Wenfeng Liang also participated in the event.
Also according to public videos and pictures, Baidu CEO Robin Li and ByteDance founder Yiming Zhang did not attend the meeting.
