Huawei releases its second foldable phone, the Mate XTS, and unveils its chip configuration for the first time.
On September 4th, Huawei held a press conference in Shenzhen to launch the Huawei Mate XTS, a tri-foldable phone and all-scenario new products. Richard Yu, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of the Device BG, officially unveiled the Huawei Mate XTS, the second commercial tri-foldable phone released by Huawei after the first commercial tri-foldable phone released last year. Unlike previous phone press conferences, which kept silent about chip configurations, this press conference publicly showcased the internal chip configuration of the Huawei Mate XTS—the Kirin 9020 chip. Richard Yu stated that the use of the Kirin 9020 chip and the Hongmeng OS has resulted in a deep optimization of the phone, resulting in a 36% performance improvement.
