On June 20, at the Huawei Developer Conference 2025 (HDC 2025), Zhang Pingan, Huawei's executive director and CEO of Huawei Cloud Computing, released Pangu Big Model 5.5. Zhang Pingan said that the key upgrade point of this Pangu prediction big model is to use its first unified pre-training architecture of triplet transformer to encode data from different industries, including tabular data of process parameters, time series data of equipment operation logs, and image data of product inspections in a unified triplet, and efficiently process and pre-train in the same framework, which can greatly improve the accuracy of the prediction big model and greatly improve the generalization across industries and scenarios.
