At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.61%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 1.90%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) closed up 0.43%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) closed up 1.11%. Chifeng Gold fell nearly 5%; NetEase rose more than 4%, and Hua Hong Semiconductor and Alibaba rose more than 3%.
