At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed down 0.24%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 0.84%. Semiconductor and pharmaceutical sectors led the gains, with SMIC up more than 6% and WuXi AppTec up more than 5%; UBTECH fell more than 30% and Xpeng Motors fell more than 5%.
