Hong Kong Stocks Midday Review: Hang Seng Index rose 1.12% Hang Seng Technology Index rose 2.49%

At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.12% and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 2.49%. The real estate sector led the gains, with Country Garden rising more than 20%, Vanke rising more than 12%, and SMIC and ZTE rising more than 7%.
