Hong Kong Stocks Midday Review: Hang Seng Index rose 0.56% Hang Seng Technology Index rose 1.68%

At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.56% and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 1.68%. The semiconductor sector led the gains, with Hua Hong Semiconductor rising more than 19%, SMIC rising more than 9%, and China Duty Free falling more than 4%.
