Hong Kong Stock Market Midday Review: Hang Seng Index rose 1.65%, Hang Seng Tech Index rose 2.6%

At the midday close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.65%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 2.6%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) rose 2.69%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) rose 1.28%. Among sectors, industrial conglomerates and insurance companies saw the largest gains, while the gas sector saw the largest declines. Among individual stocks, Lens Technology rose 7.96%, China Life Insurance rose 7.57%, Horizon Robotics-W rose 6.17%, CICC rose 5.97%, SMIC rose 5.92%, CITIC Construction Investment Securities rose 5.6%, New China Life Insurance rose 5.44%, Fast Retailing rose 5.0%, CITIC Securities rose 4.47%, China Galaxy Securities rose 4.36%, Huatai Securities rose 4.29%, and CATL rose 4.26%. Yaojie Ankang-B fell 9.02%, and Delin Holdings fell 11.34%. Sinopec Oilfield Services rose 14.67%, and Huiju Technology rose 13.52%.

                                    Southbound funds saw a significant net inflow of 5.345 billion yuan today. On the Shanghai side of the Hong Kong Stock Connect, Pop Mart and CNOOC saw net inflows of HK$538 million and HK$529 million, respectively, while Hua Hong Semiconductor saw the largest net inflow of HK$356 million. On the Shenzhen side of the Hong Kong Stock Connect, Meituan-W and CNOOC saw net inflows of HK$487 million and HK$451 million, respectively, while Hua Hong Semiconductor saw the largest net inflow of HK$659 million.
