He Xiaopeng: In the next 20 years, flying cars are expected to reach a commercial scale of 20% of automobiles
On the evening of April 15, He Xiaopeng, CEO of Xpeng Motors, said that as an important supplement to traditional transportation, flying cars are expected to reach a commercial scale of 20% of automobiles in the next 20 years. In the past 10 years, Xpeng has proactively started to plan and realize the full stack of self-developed and self-controlled four core technologies of flying cars. Xpeng's "land aircraft carrier" not only completed its first historic manned flight at the China Air Show last year, but also set a record for the world's largest order (nearly 4,000 orders in the mainland), and is expected to achieve mass production and delivery in 2026. Currently, Xpeng has started building the world's first flying car manufacturing plant in Guangzhou with an annual output of 10,000 units.
