Google asks Supreme Court to halt app store reforms, saying they will harm Android ecosystem

On September 26th, Alphabet's Google reportedly asked the U.S. Supreme Court to suspend a lower court order requiring it to overhaul its app store policies in an antitrust lawsuit filed by "Fortnite" developer Epic Games. In a filing to the Supreme Court justices on Wednesday, Google stated that the order, which was due to take effect on October 22nd, should be suspended while the company seeks Supreme Court review. The filing stated that without a delay, the company and its Android ecosystem would suffer "irreparable harm."
