General Motors appoints first chief artificial intelligence officer

General Motors announced on March 3rd that it has hired Barak Turovsky, 49, as its first chief artificial intelligence officer. Turovsky was the head of Cisco's artificial intelligence department and was also the leader of Google's artificial intelligence technology.
