Former ByteDance executive Ren Lifeng's startup project "Math Magic" has recently secured tens of millions of dollars in Pre-A round financing.

This round of financing was led by Meituan Longzhu, followed by Jinqiu Capital, and followed by Sequoia Capital China and IDG Capital.

After this round of financing, Math Magic is valued at about $150 million.

Founded early last year, Math Magic received an investment in February 2024 from Sequoia Capital China and IDG Capital.

Math Magic's core platform, Hitems, aims to commoditize ideas through generative AI (GenAI) technology, providing a full chain of services from creation to production to consumption.

Hitems is a cross-border e-commerce platform that combines creators' creativity with the platform's technological strengths to drive the commoditization process.

Ren Lifeng is one of Douyin's founding team members and is considered a key contributor to Douyin's rise.

In early 2020, Ren assumed the role of President of Xigua Video, and in the first half of 2022, he was transferred to PICO, the VR arm of ByteDance, as vice president in charge of content ecology-related businesses.
