Chinese battery maker EVE Energy (300014.SZ) has entered into a long-term cell supply partnership with a customer in the Americas.
EVE Energy and its sub-subsidiary EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. recently signed a cooperation agreement with a group customer in the Americas, the company said in an announcement on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, EVE Energy and its Malaysian sub-subsidiary will supply battery cells to this customer.
And through this agreement, EVE Energy has entered into a long-term supply relationship with this customer for the supply of battery cells.
Notably, EVE Energy did not disclose the name of the customer, as well as further details of the agreement.
EVE Energy noted that the fulfillment of the agreement is still uncertain, the actual supply volume is subject to formal sales orders, and the impact on the current year's operating results is uncertain.
