On December 27, EHang Intelligent announced that the company signed a project cooperation agreement with the Management Committee of Shandong Weihai Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Weihai High-tech Zone"). Based on the cooperation between the two parties, EHang Intelligent and Weihai High-tech Zone Cultural Tourism Industry Investment Co., Ltd. signed a purchase agreement for the first batch of 30 EH216-S electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) unmanned manned aircraft, and have received the full payment of the order. According to the project cooperation agreement, the two parties will jointly build the Shandong Province Unmanned Manned eVTOL R&D and Manufacturing Production Base as the Shandong headquarters of EHang Intelligent Aircraft Production Base, and at the same time build the Weihai High-tech Zone Low-altitude Economic Industrial Park. EHang Intelligent and Weihai High-tech Zone plan to take the lead in creating low-altitude tour projects in tourist attractions such as Weihai International Bathing Beach, Xiaoshi Island, and Torch Eighth Street.
