On the evening of September 15th, EHang Intelligent Technology announced the signing of a letter of intent for cooperation with Allur Group, a major Kazakhstan-based commercial and industrial enterprise, to explore emerging markets in Central Asia. According to the letter of intent, the two parties will promote the procurement of EH216 series products and complete the commercialization of the EH216-S airworthiness certification in Kazakhstan. Allur Group plans to purchase 50 EHang EH216 series eVTOL aircraft in phases, with the initial order consisting of 10 EH216-S manned aircraft and 10 EH216-L logistics aircraft. Furthermore, the two parties will explore the development of a localized eVTOL assembly base with an annual production capacity of 200 units. Upon completion, this base will be the first eVTOL production base in Central Asia, serving Kazakhstan and other countries in the region.
