According to the Securities Times, ByteDance has learned that the Doubao app has officially launched a "minor mode." Previously, some users reported that Doubao's inclusion of short videos as references in Q&A results could distract some children from viewing the content. It is reported that in Minor Mode, features such as answering and displaying videos, browsing third-party websites, communicating with agents other than Doubao, and AI creation are disabled by default. However, learning and work-related functions such as translation, research, and in-depth research remain available.
