On May 29, the Dongguan New Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation Consortium was established in the Binhaiwan New Area of Dongguan. So far, Dongguan has established four innovation consortia, covering new energy, new generation communications, future food, industrial mother machines and molds, etc., and the total investment in scientific research funds is expected to exceed 500 million yuan. Gao Hongchao, R&D Director of Guangdong Opto Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that the new generation of artificial intelligence innovation consortium is led by Guangdong Opto, and jointly promoted by vivo, Dongguan Xinnengde, Tosda, Yian Technology, Qiaofeng Intelligence, Cape Cloud, Dongguan New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry Technology Research Institute and South China University of Technology, as well as technical forces from universities and institutes such as Pazhou Laboratory, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou University, Guangdong Intelligent Robot Research Institute, Nankai University, Dongguan Institute of Technology, and Central China Normal University to solve the common technical problems of artificial intelligence faced by the industry.
