Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2024, the total import and export volume of China's cross-border e-commerce reached 1.88 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.5% year-on-year, setting a record high. According to this data, it is not difficult to infer that the scale of cross-border e-commerce in 2024 may set a new record. The "2024 Cross-border E-commerce Industry Data Report Blue Book" (hereinafter referred to as the "Blue Book") released by the Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Association shows that the number of cross-border e-commerce companies in my country has exceeded 120,000, with more than 30,000 registered trademarks overseas, and the scale of trade has increased more than 10 times in the past five years. Looking back at 2024, with the profound changes in the market environment, the cross-border e-commerce industry is also surging. On the one hand, emerging platforms such as Temu and TikTok continue to conquer cities and the semi-hosting model sweeps the entire cross-border e-commerce circle; on the other hand, the potential of emerging markets is constantly released, and cross-border e-commerce companies are making full efforts to layout. What is more noteworthy is that with the advent of the AI era, the entire industry chain of cross-border e-commerce is facing new opportunities and challenges, and the industry is ushering in a critical period of development and change.
