On September 25th, local time, US cloud service provider CoreWeave announced an expanded agreement with OpenAI to provide computing power for its most advanced next-generation model training, further solidifying its position as the go-to cloud platform for high-demand AI workloads. The deal is valued at up to $6.5 billion. In March of this year, CoreWeave announced an initial agreement with OpenAI worth up to $11.9 billion, followed by an expansion in May 2025 worth up to $4 billion. This expanded agreement brings the total value of the partnership between the two parties to approximately $22.4 billion.
