China Electronics Society: The overall level of Chinese humanoid robots ranks first in the world
Xu Xiaolan, President of the China Electronics Society, stated at a press conference for the 2025 World Robot Conference on the 2nd that Chinese humanoid robots have achieved significant breakthroughs in mobility and dexterity, placing them among the world's top performers overall. Xu Xiaolan stated that over the past decade, the conference has driven new breakthroughs in robotics technology, industrial development, application scenarios, and international cooperation, making it a driving force, participant, and witness in the empowerment of robots across numerous industries and their integration into everyday life. In terms of technological innovation, breakthroughs have been made in core technologies such as large-scale robot models, intelligent collaborative control, human-robot interaction, and multimodal perception, significantly enhancing their mobility. Through optimized AI control algorithms, domestically produced robots can achieve millisecond-level motion responses, with continued improvements in stability, flexibility, and consistency. In terms of industrial development, China's industrial robot market sales are projected to grow from 70,000 units in 2015 to 302,000 units in 2024, making it the world's largest industrial robot market for 12 consecutive years. China is the world's largest robot producer, with industrial robot production increasing from 33,000 units in 2015 to 556,000 units in 2024.
