CATL: Its subsidiary, Brunp Recycling, has led and participated in the formulation of national standards for lithium battery recycling, accounting for over 80% of the country's total.
On October 22, CATL announced in a press release that the State Administration for Market Regulation held a press conference on October 17th titled "Special Press Conference on Standardization of Power Battery Recycling." CATL's subsidiary, Brunp Recycling, led and participated in the development of over 80% of the national lithium battery recycling standards in China. These standards have been recognized as industry benchmarks by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and other ministries and commissions, significantly driving the industry's transition from "unorganized recycling" to "standardized and scaled" recycling.
