After ByteDance's Volcano Engine and Seres reached a cooperation in the field of embodied intelligence, 36Kr learned that the two parties are also working together to promote the Doubao large model into car computers. This cooperation project is now in the research and development stage. ByteDance's AI product Doubao family is one of the AI native applications with the largest user base in China. Therefore, in the cooperation between the two, Seres is responsible for the research and development of the car computer system architecture, while Volcano focuses on the application deployment of large models on the car side. "In terms of specific functions, the Doubao large model will realize all-round interaction such as voice and vision." An insider revealed to 36Kr that, therefore, ByteDance not only defined the parameters of Seres' in-car sensors, but also defined the corresponding computing solutions. According to 36Kr, Seres will connect an independent AI Box to the car side as a computing "plug-in" to support the operation of the Doubao large model.
