On December 19, local time, a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane carrying 165 passengers and 6 crew members slid off the runway after landing in Molde, Norway, and nearly crashed into the sea. It was reported that the flight number of the passenger plane from Oslo, the capital of Norway, to Molde was DY-430. Norwegian Airlines said that strong winds and runway slippage caused the passenger plane to slide about 150 meters off the runway and finally stopped only 15 meters from the coast. All personnel were then safely evacuated and no casualties were reported so far.
