Black Sesame Smart to raise HK$1.2 billion through share placement

Black Sesame Smart announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it agreed to place 53.65 million new shares at a price of HK$23.20 per share. The net proceeds of HK$1.24 billion (US$160 million) will be used to support the group's research and development, strategic investments and general working capital.
