On May 20th, local time, the BRICS Artificial Intelligence High-Level Forum, jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil, the Ministry of Public Service Management and Innovation of Brazil and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil, was held in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. The forum was divided into three topics, namely, data economy promotes the development of artificial intelligence industry, international cooperation and capacity building in the field of artificial intelligence - innovation, science and technology, and artificial intelligence empowers the digital development of the industry. Experts and scholars from the industry and academia of China and Brazil conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on hot topics in the field of artificial intelligence and how to use artificial intelligence to achieve sustainable development in the global South.
