BAIC Group and CATL will jointly launch battery-swap models in the first quarter of 2026

According to BAIC Group, on December 18, the 2024 CATL Chocolate Battery Swap Ecological Conference was held in Xiamen, and CATL launched a new generation of chocolate battery swap solutions. CATL plans to build 30,000 battery swap stations through the joint construction of the whole society. It is reported that CATL will jointly launch 10 battery swap models with BAIC and other automakers, and BAIC's products will be launched in the first quarter of 2026.
