AstraZeneca has officially opened its new global strategic R&D center in Beijing. This center, AstraZeneca's sixth globally and second in China, is the centerpiece of its $2.5 billion investment plan in China. The Beijing center, which includes an artificial intelligence and data science center, aims to accelerate the transition of early-stage drug research findings into clinical development.
