A-share midday review: ChiNext Index rose more than 1% in half a day, with Huawei software, computing power, robots and other popular TMT sectors leading the gains
The three major A-share indices rose and fell in the morning. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.08%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.73%, the ChiNext Index rose 1.01%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index rose 3.19%. The market's half-day turnover was 728.2 billion yuan, an increase of 70.7 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 3,800 stocks rose in the market. In terms of sector themes, Huawei Software, Cloud Computing, Zhipu AI, Humanoid Robots, and Data Elements sectors led the gains; Banks, Power, Port Shipping, Tourism Hotels, and Precious Metals sectors led the declines. On the market, popular TMT concept stocks such as Huawei Software, Cloud Computing, and Humanoid Robots strengthened in the morning, and Creative Information, Changshan Beiming, and Zhenghe Ecology stocks rose by the daily limit. Humanoid robot concept stocks rose during the session, Rockchip and Seiko Technology rose by the daily limit, and Kelda and Sling shares led the gains. The real estate sector was active in the morning, with Airport shares rising by the daily limit, and Wantong Development, Guangdong Hongyuan A, and Tianjin Investment City Development leading the gains. The banking sector adjusted in the early trading, with Hua Xia Bank falling more than 8%, and Bank of Beijing, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China and many other stocks falling more than 3%. The power sector also lagged behind, with Guangxi Energy, Huayin Power and Shaoneng Shares leading the decline.
