A-share midday review: ChiNext Index rose by more than 1% in half a day, with real estate and AI hardware sectors leading the gains

The three major A-share indices rose collectively in the morning. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.15%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.87%, the ChiNext Index rose 1.07%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index rose 1.11%. The market's half-day turnover was 733.1 billion yuan, down 46.9 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 3,800 stocks rose in the market. In terms of sector themes, real estate, AI hardware, electricity, tourism and hotels, and film and television theaters led the gains; innovative drugs, education, cross-border payments, and dairy sectors led the declines. On the market, the real estate sector rose in the morning, with Nan Guo Real Estate, Savills, Chongqing Development, and Dalong Real Estate hitting the daily limit. The power sector continued to be active, with Jiuzhou Group, Huayin Electric Power, Changyuan Electric Power, Xichang Electric Power, and Huadian Liaoneng closing the board. AI hardware directions such as optical modules and copper cable high-speed connections also performed strongly, with Shijia Photonics and Zhishang Technology rising by more than 10%, and Taichen Optics, Xinyi Sheng, and Zhongji Xuchuan leading the gains. Innovative drug stocks saw partial adjustments in early trading, with Jiangsu Wuzhong hitting the daily limit, Yuandong Biopharma and Warner Pharmaceuticals falling more than 10%. The cross-border payment sector also lagged behind, with Qingdao Kingking, Xinchen Technology, and Feitian Chengxin collectively adjusting.
