A-share market closing review: ChiNext Index surged 6.55%, rebounding strongly, with nearly 200 stocks in the market rising by more than 9%.
A-shares surged today. By market close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.24%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 3.89%, the ChiNext Index rose 6.55%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 rose 5.15%. Total trading volume for the three stock markets totaled 2.3484 trillion yuan, down 233.5 billion yuan from the previous day. Over 4,800 stocks rose across the board. Among the key sectors, solid-state batteries, photovoltaic equipment, CPO (Consumer Product) (CPPO) stocks, energy metals, and lithography equipment stocks led the gains, while banks and food and beverages lagged behind. Battery-related stocks surged across the board, with over 20 stocks, including Tianhong Lithium Battery, Golden Galaxy, and Tianhua New Energy, hitting their daily limit. The photovoltaic equipment sector also surged, with Tongrun Equipment, Sungrow Power Supply, and Canadian Solar all surging. PCB and CPO stocks saw significant gains in the afternoon, with Shenghong Technology hitting its 20-cent limit, and Xinyi Sheng, Zhongji Xuchuan, and Shengyi Electronics all surging over 10%. Innovative pharmaceuticals, lithography equipment, semiconductors, and energy metals also saw gains in the afternoon. The tourism and food and beverage sectors saw a correction after yesterday's gains, lagging behind today. The banking sector also saw a volatile correction, with Agricultural Bank of China falling over 3% intraday.
