Apple announced on August 6th that it is collaborating with Samsung Electronics to launch an "innovative chip manufacturing technology unprecedented in the world" at its Austin, Texas, plant. The plant will be the first to introduce this technology to the United States, providing chips with optimized power consumption and performance for Apple products, including iPhone devices worldwide.
