It is reported that the app will replace the existing Game Center and is one of Apple's efforts to enhance the gaming experience on its devices. Currently, games and in-app purchases contribute about two-thirds of App Store revenue. Nintendo is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Switch 2 console a few days before Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference on June 9, and Apple plans to launch the new app at the developer conference.
