Altman: Lower your expectations 100 times, OpenAI will not deploy AGI next month

On January 20, in response to the statement that "OpenAI has achieved general artificial intelligence (AGI)", the company's CEO Sam Altman denied it, saying that OpenAI will not deploy AGI next month. On Monday, Altman said on the social platform X: "The hype about us having achieved AGI is out of control again. In fact, we will not deploy AGI next month, and we have not developed it." Altman admitted that the company will indeed launch some "cool things", but reminded fans to lower their expectations "100 times."
