Alibaba Cloud to build new data centers in five countries

Alibaba Cloud will invest in new data centers in five countries around the world in the next three years, located in South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Mexico, Selina Yuan, President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International, revealed Wednesday.

At the same time Alibaba Cloud will further increase localized services and ecosystem construction, Yuan said.

Currently, Alibaba Cloud operates 85 availability zones in 28 geographies around the world, covering mainland China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, the Middle East, Europe and the U.S.
