U.S. AI startup Anthropic's financing is expected to be oversubscribed, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The actual size of Anthropic's financing is higher than the $2 billion mentioned in previous media reports, and its valuation will exceed $60 billion, the people familiar with the matter said.

Meanwhile, companies such as Menlo Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, UAE-based AI investment firm MGX and General Catalyst are in talks to participate in the financing.

Lightspeed Venture Partners, which is in talks to lead the round, is expected to invest about $1 billion, people familiar with the matter said.
