According to the Wall Street Journal: American electric vehicle company Rivian (RIVN.O) is cutting employees in its commercial operations department ahead of the launch of a cheaper SUV. A spokesperson said the layoffs affect less than 1.5% of the total workforce. The company has enough funds to launch the R2 SUV in 2026.
